It's been three months since Independent Lyne held our Community Voices event in Taree and while we've been a little quiet on the communication front, we've been very busy behind the scenes - building our website, holding Kitchen Table Conversations, distributing surveys, attending market stalls, and building on-the-ground organising capacity. |
Listening is a key part of our independent movement. It's what we recognise is missing from our current representation and what we want to see more of in the next parliament of Australia. Through our conversations and surveys, we're listening to the people and communities of Lyne - what you value and what you see as the key challenges for our local areas now and into the future.
If you haven't already, please have a look at our online survey. And ask your family, friends and neighbours to log in and complete it as the more voices we hear from the better.
There's also time to host your own Kitchen Table Conversation. These don't have to be held at your home - local libraries, cafes, and parks are great venues to get together with friends, colleagues and neighbours to discuss what matters most to you in setting up Lyne for a positive and community-driven future. You can register your interest here, and someone from our organising committee will be in contact!
ADD YOUR VOICE AND HELP BUILD THE COMMUNITY INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT IN LYNE!
